Thursday 14th, took place a live LAAO case at CSC Estructural from Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, where the planning was conducted with VIDAA.
The procedure was performed with Amulet and the medical team was able to test different sizes and positions with the platform, to get insights into the device performance in order to decide the best device configuration for the patient, mitigating any potential undesirable outcomes.
During the live procedure, Dr. Teruel and Dr. Ruiz placed an Amulet 28 at the same position VIDAA had recommended, resulting in a successful intervention, yielding a favorable outcome for the patient.
